In order to collect money, all clubs are required to set up a Sub-Merchant account through KYCK using Braintree (by Pay/Pal). You will see prompts on your Club page in KYCK encouraging you to create your account.
To create a sub-merchant account please follow these instructions:
1. Log into KYCK (to set up this account for transacting you must be a club administrator)
2. Select the ‘financial’ tab on the left and then select the ‘create a sub-merchant account’ blue button at the top right
3. You will be taken to a form and offered two options. If the bank you use to collect funds for your club is a business banking account, select the button labeled ‘Business’, or select the ‘Individual’ option if you have funds deposited into your personal bank account. Be sure to fill out all the mandatory fields (marked with an asterisk *) before submitting the form.
4. Sub-merchant account applications are processed quickly. To see the status of the approval, check back in your club account. A confirmation message will appear when the account has been activated.
